Cub Camps

Camp 1 – Group 50th – Watson Scoup Centre – April 13th – 15th – Indoor sleeping – £40 – Booking has closed.

Camp 2 – District camp – Moor House – May 12th – 13th – overnight outdoor in tents – approximately £20

Bookings via group website. 

Saturday will include county Pete Swinney competition

Sunday will include JOTT (jamboree on the trail)a 1 ½ hour hike.

Cost will include camp fees, pete swinney competition entry fee, badge for JOTT and food

(Saturday tea and supper, Sunday breakfast, hike snack and lunch)

Cubs will need:

  • packed lunch for lunch on Saturday during the Pete Swinney competition.
  • usual camp kit – see camp kit list on website
  • a day sack (that can be worn on the cubs back)
  • water bottle for the hike
  • suitable shoes to hike in.

Please bring £5 deposit in cash in an envelope with your young persons name and District Camp on ASAP to secure a place.

Balance will be due once places have been booked with district and county on the camp and competition. OSM email will be sent when balance due. Should places not be confirmed deposits will be returned should places be confirmed then deposits will not be able to be returned.

Camp 3 – County camp – Cubboree 2018 – Moor House – June 22nd – 24th– weekend outdoor in tents – Cost £50

Bookings open via group website.

Cost Includes : t-shirt, badge, 50 activities, party night and all food

Cubs will need usual camp kit – see kit list on website.

(Cubs will not need crockery and cutlery, however will need water bottle).

Please bring a £5 deposit in cash in an envelope with your young persons name and Cubboree on ASAP to secure a place.

Balance will be due once places are booked with county and confirmed. OSM email will be sent when balance is due. Should places not be confirmed deposits will be returned should places be confirmed then deposits will not be able to be returned.

Camp 4 – Group big 50th camp – Dearne valley – August 27th – 31st – Indoor sleeping – Monday – Friday – Adventurous activity centre

Camp deposit envelopes will be collected from next tuesday.

If you have any questions or queries about any of the events, then please don’t hesitate to speak to a cub leader. To avoid any disappointment please do not ask if your cub can come late, go early or leave for any part of the events, as this provides issues with ratios as well as safety and may be difficult for the programme.
